Parcel Service Options:
We utilize Canada Post because it's fast, inexpensive, and reliable. We offer varying levels of parcel service from which you may choose - all of which are offered at discounted rates:
Expedited Parcel (1 to 7 business days)
Xpresspost (1 to 3 business days)
Priority (1 to 3 business days)
Tracked Packet USA (4-7 business days)
Tracked Packet International (6-10 business days)
Tracked Packet International (6-10 days)

Customs Fees and Duty
Certain purchases are subject to additional charges in relation to crossborder shipping.
Dragonfly Cake Supply is not responsible for paying customs fees, brokerage or duty. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer making the purchase.
Most orders will be dispatched on the same date. If your order is placed later in the day, or during busy times, please allow 1-2 days dispatch time for your order to be shipped.
Please note that this does not include holidays.
If your order is placed late Friday, on the weekend, or on a holiday, it will ship the next business day.

Dragonfly Cake Supply reserves the right to choose the shipping carrier and type of service. The checkout system will allow a customer to choose Xpresspost for free shipping, HOWEVER, we will only ship for free using Regular or Expedited service. Free shipping cannot be combined with any other discount code. Order must total $100 CAD or more before taxes. If the calculated (actual) shipping amount is $50 CAD or greater (in the case of remote locations or long distance delivery), we reserve the right to contact the customer with additional shipping charges. Of course, you may cancel your order at any time if you do not agree to pay an additional shipping charge. Shipping is available world-wide.
Shipping of Heavy/Oversized Items:
For large orders of Fondant, Cake Dummies, or Cake Boxes, where the customer has paid the estimated shipping ahead of time, we reserve the right to contact the customer with additional shipping charges, as shipping is estimated and large orders can be significantly more expensive to ship. We will contact you prior to shipping to confirm if you would still like to proceed. Please feel free to contact us if you're unsure about shipping charges on a large order.
Free Pick-Ups (by appointment only):
If you live within driving distance of us, we offer an option at check-out for our customers to come pick up their orders. At check-out, simply choose "Pick Up from Dragonfly", then email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to set a time for pick-up.
Lost or Late Packages:
**Dragonfly Cake Supply is not responsible for lost or late packages due to shipping carrier error, postal strikes, or adverse weather conditions causing delayed delivery (eg. floods, forest fires, highway closures, etc). We will, however, do everything we can to help track down your package and figure out a solution with you.
Most orders include up to $100 of insurance in the event of a missing package. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to purchase additional insurance through us for larger orders. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please contact us directly at email@example.com.
